FAQ

What is the packing & shipping process?

  • Packaging is done to the highest standard by a specialist art packaging company that packs and delivers high value artworks.
  • For my international collectors, once the sculptures are wrapped up, they are placed inside custom-made, thick foam-padded wooden crates.
  • You can rest assured, that all of my sculptures have arrived in perfect condition, to countries all around the world.
  • Shipping charges vary based on the country and size of the piece being shipped.
  • To ship a framed sculpture around 81cm x 81cm internationally usually costs around £850 (including insurance).
  • An estimated delivery date will be given before the final payment. Artworks will arrive within 1-2 weeks.

What will come with the artwork upon delivery?

  • The artwork arrives with a custom made frame, designed specifically for the glass sculpture.
  • It will be signed and dated on the back.
  • A certificate of authenticity.
  • A letter from the artist.
  • The frame will also come with hanging equipment pre-installed, ready to hang on your wall.

Do you do commissions?

I am always flattered that people ask. But this is one of those subjects where the volume of requests makes it impossible to keep up and reply individually. I regret not being able to respond to everyone.

The honest truth is that the time it takes me to plan, design and create a commission out of glass, mostly makes it not worth it for me to make a single sculpture based on a one off design.

Feel free to ask but I tend to be highly selective in taking on anything outside of my schedule of my personal artwork and film directing.

Any personal portrait commsions I do accept have a minumum fee of £8,000.

Can I provide an alternate means of payment?

  • If you prefer you can pay by bank transfer, or crypto BTC or ETH - please email me if you would like to do so.

If it’s glass, isn't it very fragile?

  • No - this is not regular glass. I use a special type of safety glass that always remains intact even when smashed. Even when it cracks it will stay together.
  • In many ways my glass art is less fragile than a painting. A painting, will fade over time due to light and UV exposure. Whereas my glass sculptures are highly unreactive — you can place them in as much light as you like and they will not alter. Unlike a painting, you can clean them easily.

Can I get a refund if something is damaged?

None of my works have ever arrived damaged. This is because I have spent a very long time getting custom made frames built to house my specific work correctly.

In the unprecedented case that an artwork arrives damaged, it must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. We’ll work to make it right—including setting up either a return, refund or exchange.
